Washington, D.C. – The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), announced that it has uncovered $1.9 billion in misplaced taxpayer funds under the Biden administration.
DOGE, a group dedicated to identifying and eliminating government waste, conducted an extensive audit that led to the discovery of the lost funds. The findings have raised concerns about financial oversight and accountability within federal agencies.
“$1.9 billion of HUD money was just recovered after being misplaced during the Biden administration due to a broken process. These funds were earmarked for the administration of financial services, but were no longer needed,” As per the X post Scott Turner and DOGE worked together to fix the issue and de-obligated the funds which are now available for other use by the treasury.
